Choir visit to Age UK

Well done to the choir children who visited Age UK at Edgefield Green on Thursday morning. Their singing was absolutely beautiful and it was lovely to see them chatting to their audience before singing. We are sure that this will be an annual event from now on!

Pantomime – Well done!

Just to say a big well done to all the children for their fabulous behaviour when they visited Theatre Severn on Thursday morning.

Christmas Raffle

The staff have been very busy donating and obtaining some super prizes for a Christmas raffle. Tickets will be on sale during the last week of term and it will be drawn on the Friday morning at the Class 2/3 Nativity performance. Keep an eye out at the office next week where some of the prizes will be on display.

Co-op Christmas Baubles Competition

If your child would like to enter the baubles competition, Monday is the last day for returning their entry. We’ve been very impressed with the baubles that have been returned so far!

Christmas Jumper Day

On Wednesday 19^th December, all children are invited to come to school wearing a Christmas jumper or festive outfit. (Children do not have to wear school trousers or school skirts with their Christmas jumper.)

This is not a fundraising event simply an end-of-term treat for everyone’s hard work this term.

Choir Events

Just a reminder that the choir are singing at the Co-op next Friday morning between 10:15 and 10:45 and a small group of the choir are also singing for local residents at Age UK on Thursday morning.

Class 6 Parents Lunch

Just a reminder that this Thursday we will be going to the Pantomime. We will be leaving school at 9.30am and returning at 1.00pm. Children will need to bring a packed lunch to eat when we return to school. They can bring a snack to eat (nothing containing nuts please) during the interval.

Turbo Turtle Drops in at Bicton!

We had an unexpected visitor this morning during our annual governors’ visit day. After Mr Street had talked to us about different forms of renewable energy, Laura appeared with the Coop’s new mascot – Turbo Turtle!
