Christmas Play

The children have been given their lines today, to learn for the Christmas play. All the children are excited about this and very eager to learn them.

Please could you support your child with learning these at home, five/ten minutes a night would be great!

Any questions about this, please do not hesitate to come and ask.

Thank you

Miss Edwards

BONFIRE NIGHT

We have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for Friday evening although there may be a chance of rain we have decided not to disappoint the children by cancelling the event.   We hope that you will be able to attend and we look forward to seeing as many families as possible.

Don’t forget your marshmallow sticks, torch and gloves (and an umbrella)!

Thanks

Role playing Romans and Celts

As part of our topic lesson this week we have been learning about The Romans first invasion of Britain. We role played the invasion to help us gain a better understanding of what it might have been like for both The Romans and The Celts. Half the class were Roman soldiers, sailing their ships towards the shores of Britain buy finasteride in canada with Julius Caesar leading the way and the other half were a tribe of Celts living by the shores of Britain. As we acted out what happened and the feelings each side might have felt, three children acted as narrators using a script to tell us the events of the invasion.
