Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our end-of-year assemblies this week and for all your support in these very busy last few weeks of term.  We are very grateful for the extensive feedback on children’s end-of-year reports and your comments will help us to continue to move the school forward.

Our website is being revamped over the summer so it may not be accessible at some times during the holidays.  If you have any queries during the summer, please email admin or head@bicton.shropshire.sch.uk and somebody will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cross Country

As there is a FOBs disco next Friday, today was the last cross country club of this school year.  Thank you to all the adults who have come along and helped with the club during the year and a big thank you to all the children for their fantastic effort and enthusiasm.

Dinner money

Last week of term 

Please remember to check the website for the last week of term, as some clubs will not be running and there are also a few events during that week including Celebration Assembly and Leavers’ Assembly.

Area Sports

Well done to all the children who competed in the Area Sports at Bomere Heath on Tuesday morning.  Thankfully the rain held off and we witnessed some fantastic achievements – well done to the girls’ relay team who made it through to the final.

Spaghetti Maths

Please could you let the Office staff know as soon as possible if you would like your child to sign up to the next block of Spaghetti Maths sessions.  Depending on who is interested, we will then decide when to run the next block and Jonny can decide the content of the sessions i.e. whether to rerun the current sessions or deliver ‘new’ sessions.

Data Collection Sheets

Next week we will be sending home children’s end-of-year reports including the data collection sheets.  Please can you check that the information on the data collection sheet is correct, amend as required and return to the school office as soon as possible.  Thank you.

Head Lice

We have had a couple of reports of head lice so please could we ask that you check your child’s hair and treat as required.  If you are unsure of current treatments, please speak to Mrs Jones or Mrs Neal at the school office.  Thank you in advance for your support.
