Year 1’s fieldwork

Year 1 have been busy geographers, investigating the question: ‘What is the most common house type on Bicton Lane?’ To find out, they headed outdoors for some hands-on fieldwork! Armed with an ipad  and tally charts, the children took photos of different houses, counted each type and recorded their findings.

Whole school worship by Worship Council

Very well done to Worship Council for planning and leading a whole school worship. They told the story of ‘Daniel and the Lion’s Den’ and clearly explained how Daniel’s story demonstrates our school value- perseverance.

Head of School Message

Dear parents/carers,

Wow! What a busy week!

We have had bowling trips, nativities, pantomimes, Father Christmas visits, choir and handbells performances and everything else in between in the last few days and we are so grateful for all of your support in helping make these events a success.

Mrs Jones’ Christmas shop has raised over £550 for school so a huge thank you to her for her amazing organisation and giving the children an opportunity to choose gifts for their loved ones.

The pantomime trip on Wednesday was a fantastic experience for all the children and they thoroughly enjoyed singing and dancing along, making more noise than the other schools put together!
