Harvest donations
Thank you to everyone for the Harvest donations and to families and friends who were able to join us in church this morning. The donations have been delivered to Shrewsbury Food Bank and they were overwhelmed with the generosity of our school community.
Parent meetings
If you haven’t already booked an appointment with your child’s class teacher(s), there is still time to do so. The booking system will remain open until Tuesday evening. If you have not received a confirmation email, please check your junk/spam folder.
Just a reminder that after-school clubs will be running as normal on Wednesday but will be held in Nursery rather than in the Eco-room. Please come to the school office if you are collecting your child/children before 4:30 p.m. Thank you.
Gardening and DIY day
We are planning another DIY and gardening day on Saturday 26th October and we would love to see you if you are able to spare a couple of hours.
Quiz Trail Competition Time
Thank you if you have already purchased the Quiz Trail for only £5. This is a great way to entertain the family over half term and have the opportunity of winning a brilliant prize, whilst raising money for school funds.
12K of Christmas Charity Challenge
Thank you for the fantastic response to the 12K Charity Challenge. If you would still like your child to take part, please return the slip and entry fee as soon as possible.
Year 6 secondary school applications
The Local Authority have asked us to remind Year 6 parents that the deadline is fast approaching for making secondary school applications. All applications must be made by 31st October.
Cross Country at The Corbet
Well done to the children who took part in the cross country event at The Corbet on Wednesday evening. The next event is after school on Wednesday 6th November for children in Years 3 to 6. Letters will be given to children next week, who show an interest in taking part.
Remembrance Day Poppies
Poppies and other British Legion products will be on sale at the school office from next Monday.
Flute lessons
If your child is interested in learning to play the flute, by having lessons in school through Shropshire Music Service, please speak to Mrs Neal at the school office.
LETTER REMINDERS
Flu immunisation letters
Please can all flu immunisation letters be returned by Wednesday 23rd October at the very latest. We need the letters to be returned whether you would like your child to have the immunisation next Thursday or not.
Christmas card designs
We need to send the Christmas card designs off to the printing company before we break up next Thursday so please can all designs be returned by Thursday morning at the very latest.
Arthog deposits
If you would like your child to take part in the Arthog residential next summer, please can you return the slip and deposit by next Thursday. Thank you
