Pantomime reminder

Just a reminder that we will be visiting Theatre Severn next Wednesday to watch the pantomime. Children will need to bring a packed lunch unless they have ordered one from the school kitchen.

Driving on Bicton Lane

We have been contacted by a local resident who regularly walks their dog along Bicton Lane. They are concerned at the speed at which cars coming to and from Bicton School are driving along Bicton Lane and have asked if drivers could slow down, particularly in wet weather. We thank you in advance for your assistance with this.

We would like to say a very big thank you to Sian Tiplady for organsing the quiz trail around Shrewsbury. Sian put a lot of time and thought into this event which raised £115 for school and nursery funds.

Class 3 parents’ lunch

We look forward to Class 3 parents joining us for lunch next week.

Punctuality

We have noticed a sharp increase in the number of children arriving late in the morning. The bell rings on the playground for the start of the day at 8:55 a.m. and children should be in school by 9:00 a.m. at the latest. Any children arriving after 9:00 a.m. will be marked as late.

We will be visiting every week as a class.  You can also pop into the library after school with your child.  The children will still continue to chose a book from the class library, which they can change as often as needed.
