Mrs Bowes

Mrs Bowes is making a good recovery after her operation in half-term and the children have all contributed to a get well card for her which we are sure will really cheer her up! Thank you for the cards made at home by Class 1 children which we will be passing on to Mrs Bowes over the weekend.

School P.E. Kit

If your child has any school P.E. kit at home, please could it be returned to school as soon as possible.  We are missing lots of blue shorts, which we purchased recently, and we are also almost out of the light blue polo shirts. Thank you in advance for your support with this.

We have recently purchased lots of royal blue sports tops with the school logo on but they have been returned to the printers to have Bicton printed on the back – hopefully these will be back with us soon for our next event outside school!

Condover Residential

Please could any outstanding parental consent forms be returned by Tuesday 8th March at the very latest – we have to send these to Condover Hall by the end of next week.

Spaghetti Maths

We have had a fantastic response to the Spaghetti Maths after-school club due to start in May.  The places have now all been booked so we are looking to arrange another block of sessions in September and details will follow.

World Book Day 2016

The children look amazing today so thank you for all the effort that you have put into children’s costumes.  We’re sure David Walliams would be impressed with the number of boys who have turned up today wearing dresses!

Open the Book was even more colourful than usual and Mary-Lou, Alan, Shirley and Wendy were very impressed with the costumes and how well children listened to and acted out the story of Moses and the escape from Egypt.
