As many of you will know, new housing developments in Bicton mean more families will hopefully be joining our community. When this happens, developers pay something called the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) to the council, which can then be used to improve local facilities—including schools. We are hoping to secure some of this funding to help us enhance our buildings and learning spaces so we can continue to provide safe, high‑quality provision for all our children. Importantly, CIL funding supports long‑term improvements without taking money away from day‑to‑day teaching and resources, so it would make a real difference to the opportunities we can offer.
We would be very grateful if you could follow the link to the survey to share your thoughts and ideas. You don’t need to live in Bicton, you are still a member of the community if your children/grandchildren/nieces/nephews/cousins/friends attend the school.
Thank you!
