The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Chester are organising an outreach event for primary school age children and their parents or guardians to come along to in the summer holidays. The event is called ‘University of Chester Cholmondeley Estate BioBlitz’ and it will be held at Cholmondeley Castle Gardens on Weds 16th and Thurs 17th August, 10am-3pm.

The event is a fun and educational day for parents and guardians to bring their children along to, where they will find out what wildlife species are in the area and how to identify them using their specialist field equipment. There will be students and staff from the university there to teach the children all about wildlife identification in a fun and interactive way.
