Dear Friends,
We have Forest Church this coming Sunday- at Preston Montford Field Studies Centre. Amongst other things, there will be pond-dipping and a chance to explore the water cycle. We are very grateful to staff at the centre for welcoming us in!
Do join us at 3pm on Sunday- for an afternoon of ecological adventures, followed by a short worship service and refreshments. Directions are at the end of this email, and it is a dog-free site, so do leave pets at home on this occasion.
With blessings,
Hannah x
Directions to Preston Montford (SY4 1DX):
From the Holyhead Road heading out from town, take a right turn onto the B4473 just before Montford Bridge (this road eventually joins the Welshpool Road). The field centre is along this road, on the right-hand side- clearly marked. Go down the drive towards the big white house, and there is plenty of parking.

Head of School Message

Dear parents/carers,

As we come to the end of a short but wonderfully busy Spring term, we want to thank you for your continued support. The children have worked incredibly hard, and we rounded off the term beautifully with our Easter service and a fantastic iRock concert—both real highlights that showcased the talent and spirit of our school community.

We now look forward to an exciting Summer term ahead. With the promise of lighter mornings, brighter evenings, and (hopefully!) a little more sunshine, there should be plenty to enjoy. Events such as our Springo fundraiser, Sports Day, and many more activities are already on the horizon, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Wishing all our families a restful, refreshing break and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday 13th April.

A Wonderful Day at the Field Studies Council

Willow Class had a fabulous day at the Field Studies Council in Preston Montford, joining Katy the caterpillar to learn about life cycles, camouflage and habitats. We explored the woodland, meadow and pond, tackling the fun challenges Katy left for us. The children used simple equipment to observe and identify lots of different bugs and creatures and how they are adapted to their habitat.
