Diary dates

This term, we are really pleased to be holding our autumn term parent meetings in person. These will take place the week commencing Monday 17th October and the parent booking system will go live on the website next week. A link to the booking system will be sent out, once it is live.

We are also holding our Harvest services for pupils and families at Holy Trinity Church, Bicton on the morning of Friday 21st October.  Children will be going to church in their ‘houses’ and there will be two services with each service involving two houses – Brookes with Darwin, and Owen with Jebb. Again, we will let you know next week which service your child will be taking part in.

If you are able to donate any produce, packets or tins of foods, toiletries, etc. we would be very grateful and all donations will be taken to the Shrewsbury Food Bank.  Children will be taking their donations to the service so these can be brought into school on the Friday morning or they can be left on the table at the main office.  Please click here for items that are in demand and here for items that the Food Bank regularly need.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Christmas Shoebox Appeal – Teams4u

We are pleased to be taking part in the Christmas Shoebox Appeal run by the charity Teams4u. Your youngest child in school brought a leaflet home a couple of weeks ago. The project is being lead in school by Cerys in Year 5, as part of her Brownie charity badge, and she has asked for any shoe boxes brought in to be left at the school office – thank you for the ones brought in already. Click here for more information on the Shoebox Appeal.

30.09.22 Perfect end to the week

Hello everyone,

We have had another really good week in school and nursery and we ended the week with a visit from a theatre company. The children’s behaviour was amazing and, as you can imagine, they were very excited! The actors commented on how wonderful our children are, which makes us very proud. 🙂 We thought we’d share a few photos of the Jungle Book performance with you.
