We also have a range of children’s clothing including footwear. The responses are only seen by Mrs Johnson and you will be contacted by the school office if we have the items in school that you require.

Arthog update

We are really looking forward to our visit to Arthog next weekend and the weather forecast looks great!

If your child needs any medication during the visit, including travel sickness tablets for the return journey, we must have a medication consent form completed and returned. Ideally, we need the forms before Friday morning please, so that we can finalise our list of who will need medication while we are away.

Thank you to everyone who returned their forms this week.

We talked to children on Friday afternoon about what they will need in their rucksack for the beach, and stressed the need for them to help with packing, as well as answering any questions they had. If you or your child have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Weekly News 09.06.23

Hi everyone,

We have had a great start to this half term and the sunshine has certainly helped!

With the warm weather forecast next week, please sure your child has suncream applied before coming to school / nursery and they must bring a hat and water bottle. We ask that children only bring water to school and not squash / sugary drinks. Children can top up their bottles throughout the day and we will encourage them to stay in the shade at lunchtimes when it is very warm.

Remember to check the calendar on the school website for diary dates for this half term. Dates for Nursery events have just been finalised and letters will be sent home next week.

Have a lovely weekend.

Weekly News 31.05.23

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a good half term and enjoying the sunshine.

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 pupils who took part in a rounders tournament at The Corbet School a couple of weeks ago.  We entered 2 teams and they finished 2nd and 4th out of 9 teams – a great result!

Summer term diary dates are now on the website, including Sports Day, schoo photos, and end-of-year celebration assemblies.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Forest Church News

Dear Friends,
We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible this coming Sunday, for Forest Church. We will be gathering at 3pm at Leaton Forest (by kind permission of Mr Charles Bridgeman)- where the Christmas trees are sold- Berwick Road, SY4 3AP. There is plenty of parking, and there will be seating and crafts set up in the grain store for those who don’t want to walk far.
The afternoon will begin with an opening prayer and introduction to the site. There will then be 45 minutes or so to explore. Choose from woodland walks, woodland crafts or den-making. At about 4pm we will have a brief service, followed by a drink (provided) and picnic (do bring your own picnic).
If you do go exploring, please do wear suitable shoes and long trousers- there is some uneven ground and we are blessed with a biodiverse landscape at its summer peak!
With thanks and blessings,
Hannah x
