Old T-Shirts

Please could I ask for any OLD, large (adult size) T-shirts to be donated to class 2 for arts and crafts. These will be used in any future art lessons to protect children’s clothing from paint and glue.

Thank you for your support.

Celebration Assembly

I have asked children who want to, to prepare a short fact about the sea creature that they carried out research for in school and at home. It should be no more than a couple of sentences and I would like them to read it out (without bits of paper) in next Friday’s assembly. I would appreciate your help in helping them to prepare this and we will practise on Wednesday and Thursday in school.

Many thanks,

Jude Chadwick

Class 2 Spellings

Children have not been given new spellings today as next Friday is celebration assembly and the following Friday is a PD day. Could you please leave children’s spelling books in their book bags as we will collect these in the last week.

Many thanks,

Jude Chadwick

Spanish Taster

Last Friday afternoon, Class 5 were lucky enough to receive a taster Spanish lesson with Jesús teaching the class.  He taught the other children a range of everyday vocabulary and even tested them at the end of the lesson – well done Jesús!

Area Sports

Well done to the children who took part in the Area Sports this morning at Bomere Heath Primary School.  They were all very competitive and, without a doubt,  they cheered the loudest!

A huge well done to the girls’ relay team who were first in the relay final and retain the shield as a result – no pressure for next year girls! The boys’ team won their first heat and came third in the relay final so a big well done to them also.

School Lunches

Please could all dinner money be paid by Monday 14th July.

Many thanks.

Late arrivals – ordering lunch

We are expected to give our School Cook numbers/choices of school lunches by 10.00 a.m. at the latest.  If you know that your child will be arriving after this time e.g. existing medical appointment, please could you let the Office or child’s teacher know what they would like for lunch.  Any children arriving after this time, who have not pre-ordered a school dinner, will need to bring a packed lunch.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff.

Many thanks.

Mrs Johnson
