Class 2 Tennis

Welcome back class 2

It was lovely to have class 2 back today and hear all about their wonderful holidays! In literacy we discussed our holidays and then did some writing remembering to include adjectives and conjunctions to make our writing more interesting.

This afternoon we went on a Spring hunt, it was a nice introduction to our Science topic ‘plants’. The children enjoyed searching for daffodils, nests, insects, and squirrels and used a checklist to help them.

Just a reminder that class 2 PE lessons will be on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings. Please can all children have their PE kits in school everyday, with outdoor shoes as we will be making the most of the warmer weather.

Thank you for your support

Miss Edwards

Welcome Back!

It was lovely to see so many smiling faces coming on to the playground this morning and children have enjoyed sharing their news today from the Easter holiday.

Sunny weather

Judging from the array of tanned faces today, it seems as though lots of children enjoyed and made the most of the sunny weather last week!  As the warm weather looks as though it is here to stay for this week at least, it might be a good idea for your child to bring a hat to school to wear at break-times. Drinking water is always available in school but they are welcome to bring a drink to school as well.

Letter home

A letter has been sent home today with every child with information regarding chicken pox and scarlet fever.  If the letter does not reach you, please do not hesitate to ask for a copy from the School Office.

Calendar

Please remember to check the calendar for clubs, etc. as it has been updated over the weekend so will differ to the weekly email sent last Friday.

Many thanks.
