World Book Day 2016

The children look amazing today so thank you for all the effort that you have put into children’s costumes.  We’re sure David Walliams would be impressed with the number of boys who have turned up today wearing dresses!

Open the Book was even more colourful than usual and Mary-Lou, Alan, Shirley and Wendy were very impressed with the costumes and how well children listened to and acted out the story of Moses and the escape from Egypt.

Fairtrade Fortnight

In whole-school worship this morning, we looked at lots of different food items that the Coop have kindly brought into school for us as part of our Fairtrade Fortnight activities.

We watched a video Fairtrade Adventure and thought about how Fairtrade works and the impact it hopes to have.  Each class was also given a Fairtrade football from the Coop and these are already in use!

Sensory and Wildlife Garden

We are delighted to let you know that we have been awarded a grant for the Sensory and Wildlife Garden. There is voting in 3 Shrewsbury Tesco stores this week to top up the grant and all you need to do is simply collect a token from the till and vote. Thank you in advance for your support.
