English:Â We have been creating our own information texts about the Romans this week. The children have been including key features such as headings, sub-headings and captions in their writing. They have also been focusing on using the third person and past tense.
Maths:Â We have been learning about Roman Numerals this week. We have learned how the Romans used simple addition and subtraction sums to create their numbers. We have also practised telling the time using a Roman Numeral clock.
History:Â Our History work has been linked to our English work. The children have researched about Roman Soldiers, particularly the uniform they wore as well as finding out other facts about the Roman army.
Computing:Â The children have been creating pictures on the laptops and have learned how to order their work using the ‘bring to front’, ‘send to back’ features.
PSHE:Â We have been learning how to manage our feelings, particularly thinking about what to do when we feel angry.
PE:Â The children have finished off their country dance work by learning a new dance including key techniques already taught.
Have a lovely half term everyone!
