Request for Art Materials

Dear Parents/Carers,

Next half term the children will be making papier-mache Roman helmets for their art project. Please could your child bring in a cardboard box (the size of a cereal box) on the first day back after half term.

If you happen to have any newspapers you do not want we will happily receive those as well!

Thank you,

Miss Barratt

Maths homework is placing numbers on a number line and identifying one more and one less than a given number. English is a story starter, “We were walking in the woods, when we heard a…” I’ve asked the children to write an exciting story to go with this starter, remembering to use punctuation, adjectives, conjunctions (and, but and because) and to remember to use their beautiful handwriting. If your child would like to write more than the given lines, then additional paper can be added to their homework. Homework is due in Friday 8th June 2018.

Bean plants homework project

Class 1 children were all excited to take home their bean stalks.  Over the last few weeks the children have  carefully monitored the growth and compared whose has grown the tallest / most each day.  They were also very good at making sure they all got watered.

We would like you and your child to keep a record of their bean and how well it continues to grow.  I look forward to seeing updates on Tapestry.

It seems a long time ago since we planted them!
