Hello everyone,
We have had a super first week back and the children have settled straight back into school routines after the Christmas break.
If you need to speak to your child’s class teacher or teaching assistants, please can we ask that you arrange to do so at the end of the school day and not in the morning as staff are very busy at the start of the day. You are welcome to send a message on Class Dojo but teachers may not see this during the day. Messages can be left at the school office and these will be passed on to the relevant staff. Thank you for your support.

Change to school menu
There will be a change to the school dinner menu next week as follows:
Thursday 18th – pizza or fish fingers
Friday 19th – Shepherd’s Pie or jacket potato
Baschurch Juniors FC – players wanted for U8 team
Applications to Reception class 2024
The deadline for applications for your child(ren) to start school in Reception in September 2024 closes on Monday 15 January 2024.
Please ensure that you make an application online via the Shropshire Council’s portal – Synergy – Homepage (shropshire.gov.uk)
Please note that if you do not make an online application, your child will not be allocated a school place.

After-school Clubs
Children must be collected promptly at the end of after-school clubs at 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm on Wednesdays. We rely on the goodwill of our support staff to offer to run an after-school club and we do not expect them to have to stay after the end of the club, but this is happening far too often now. Thank you in advance for adhering to the collection times.
