Head of School Message
Dear parents/carers,
We have had another busy week, kick-started by the fantastic annual Area Sports event hosted by Bomere Heath Primary School. As always, our children did us proud and were encouraging of each other, friendly towards the other schools, and overall great Bicton ambassadors! We did have some children achieve one of the top three spots in some of the events and they will be awarded with certificates in today’s worship.
We are all very excited about Arts Week next week! As the children may be getting messy, please send them in old clothes on Wednesday and Thursday next week. We will be working on the project each day but those are likely to be the messiest days! If your child is in Year 6, they should bring a change of clothes with them on Wednesday for their trip to Hickorys and the Quarry Park.
Today we have said a sad goodbye to Miss Nagington. She has been a wonderful asset to our school over the last year and I know the children will miss her very much. I would like to say a huge thank you to Miss Nagington for all of her hard work in Maple and the wider school – good luck for all your future adventures!
We will be welcoming back Mrs Erasmus from maternity leave on Monday where she will be working in Maple Class with Miss Guy until the end of term.
We hope to see lots of parents/carers at the end of year celebration assembly on Friday 11th July. We will be starting at around 9.15am and aim to be finished by 10.15am.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Mavin

Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey
We are committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of all students at Bicton. This short survey will help us understand how well we are currently supporting parents and identify areas for improvement. All responses are anonymous and will be used to guide future planning so please be as honest as possible.
