Head of School Message

Dear parents/carers,

We have had a very busy but productive first week back at school! It has been lovely to see how quickly the children have settled back into their school routines.

We have had a number of new school clubs start this week.  Cookery club was a huge success and the smells coming down the corridor were delicious! We are hoping to book this club again for September so if your child didn’t get a place this time, they will have another chance then.  Little Lifesavers has also proved very popular and I have had great feedback from parents/carers.  I am delighted we are able to offer such a range of extra-curricular clubs at our school and we appreciate your support in encouraging the children to try new things and learn new skills.

Lots of children are starting to ask about classes for next year.  A letter will be coming out next week with the class structure and any staff changes for next year.  We will be holding a transition morning on Tuesday 8th July where all children will spend some time in their new classroom or with their new teacher or classmates.  We will also be planning additional transition support for any children that will require further preparation.

Have a lovely weekend with hopefully a bit of sunshine!

Mrs Mavin
