Head of School Message
Dear parents/carers,
Well despite it being a short week, we still managed to cram a lot in! We have had trips out, VE day celebrations in school, pupil council activities and more, and the rest of the term doesn’t look much quieter!
It has been a particularly busy week for our Year 6 pupils who have been preparing for the End of Key Stage 2 Assessments (SATs) next week. A quick reminder that the Year 6s are welcome to join breakfast club from 8.15am from Monday – Thursday next week free of charge. I am sure you will join us in wishing them the very best of luck for next week.
Thank you to those of you who joined us for the VE day celebrations, it was really lovely to see so many of you there and I hope you enjoyed the children’s decorations.
Have a lovely weekend everyone,
Mrs Mavin
Shrewsbury Town Foundation’s tournament
A group of children from Oak and Maple class descended onto The Croud Meadow pitch this Thursday to take part in a VE-Day themed tournament. As well as having an amazing tour of the stadium, the children played a number of games battling hard and showing off our school values excellently.
