Head of School Message
Welcome Back!
We hope all our families had a restful and enjoyable half term. It’s been lovely to see the children return with such enthusiasm and positivity for the new half term ahead.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who completed our recent parent/carer survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and will be shared with you once it has been disseminated.
Next Thursday afternoon, all classes will be taking part in a fun and energetic skipping workshop. If you are able to, please consider making a voluntary contribution via School Gateway to help support the cost of this event. Every contribution is appreciated and helps us continue offering enriching experiences for our pupils.
This month, our school value is Peace, inspired by the Bible story Jesus Calms the Storm. We’ll be exploring how peace can be found in our daily lives and how we can help create a calm and caring environment for ourselves and others.
Thank you for your continued support and have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs Mavin
EFL cup
Well done to the KS2 boys who represented Bicton in the EFL cup qualifiers at Shrewsbury Town football club this week. They battled hard and showed real perseverance in some very challenging fixtures.

Well done to Olivia in Year 6 for her performances in Beauty and the Beast!
Holiday Requests Reminder
We kindly remind parents and carers that requests for term-time holidays will not be authorised, in line with government guidance and our school attendance policy. Regular attendance is vital for children’s learning, progress, and wellbeing.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support in ensuring your child’s consistent attendance.
If you have any questions or need support regarding attendance, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.
