Parent Survey 2026: Thank You for Your Feedback
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our parent survey. We are incredibly grateful for your feedback and support.
We were delighted that the survey was overwhelmingly positive. Parents told us that children are happy, feel safe and enjoy coming to school. Many of you highlighted the caring and supportive staff, the positive atmosphere across the school, and the wide range of learning opportunities and experiences available to pupils.
We were particularly pleased to hear that parents feel their children are well supported, encouraged to do their best, and are making good progress. Many families also commented on the welcoming nature of our school community and the strong relationships that help children thrive.
Alongside the many positive comments, we also received some helpful suggestions about how we can continue to improve, particularly around communication. We value this feedback and will use it to help shape our future priorities.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We are proud of all that we achieve together and look forward to continuing to work in partnership with you to provide the very best for our children.
**Communication change**
Over the half-term holiday, we will be migrating to a new IT service provided by Telford & Wrekin.
During the migration period, school staff will not have access to school email accounts or ClassDojo. As part of the move to our new IT system, all staff will be issued with new email addresses and existing email accounts will no longer be monitored.
This means that any emails or ClassDojo messages sent during the holiday period, or to previous staff email addresses after half term, may not be received.
Once we return after the break, please send any school enquiries to admin@bictonschool.org.uk, and our team will ensure they are directed to the appropriate member of staff. We will also share details of new staff email addresses where appropriate.
If you have a safeguarding concern during the holiday, please contact Children’s Services First Point of Contact on 0345 678 9021, or 0345 678 9040 for the Emergency Duty Team outside normal office hours.
If your email relates to a data protection matter, please send it to DPO@wearehy.com.
Thank you for your understanding and support while this work takes place.
