Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings school trip

Oak class have had a great day at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings! We have learnt about the building, also known as ‘The Grandfather of Skyscrapers’, and how its purpose has changed since it was built in 1797. The children have heard what life would have been like for children their age, who were employed as apprentices by Mr Marshall.
