Hi everyone,
We hope you all had a good half term break. We have had a few positive COVID cases in school recently so we ask you to be extra vigilant please and do not send your child to school if they are poorly and not well enough to be in school.

Friday 4th November – Sweet sale and hot dog sale in the school playground at end of school day. £1.00 for hot dogs.

Remembrance Poppies
The school office are selling Poppies and other British Legion merchandise to support The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. The suggested donations are between 50p and £1.50.

Corbet Cross Country
Well done to the Year 5 and 6 pupils who competed in a cross country event at The Corbet School earlier this week. They showed fantastic team spirit and perseverance and hopefully haven’t been put off from taking part again!
Nursery’s surprise visitors!
Our Nursery children had a surprise visit from Shropshire Fire Service. They even got to talk to children in other classes over the firefighters’ radio!
Attendance and medical appointments
If your child is absent from school / nursery, please inform the school office as emails sent to class teachers or Mrs Johnson may not be seen. We ask that, wherever possible, you avoid making routine medical or dental appointments for your child during the school day. Thank you for your support with this.

Day out at World Tennis Tour
Year 6s had a great day at The Shrewsbury Club. They spent the morning learning different tennis skills before watching one of the women’s quarter final matches.
