REMINDER: COVID-19 Testing

Hello everyone,

Please can we remind all parents and guardians of the steps to take if you or your child are unwell and displaying COVID-19 symptoms. It is important that everyone follows these rules so that we can keep all of our pupils, staff and families safe.

If you or your child have a high temperture or a peristent cough or a loss of taste or smell, you must not send your child to school and you must book a PCR test. if any member of your family are having a PCR test, all members of the household must remain at home until the test result comes back.

If you or your child have one of the other symptoms below, we ask that you also book a test and we thank you in advance for doing so. We know that many families are using the lateral flow tests but these are intended for use where there are no symptoms.

Please also read the symptoms flow chart below of the steps to take once the test result comes back.

Supporting Families Eligible for Free School Meals

Hello, by way of introduction my name is Ellie and I work for the charity, Severn Trent Trust Fund.

In partnership with Severn Trent we are supporting their customers who are finding it difficult to manage their household bills and we would like to make them aware of the Big Difference Scheme.

We know that this level of saving can make a massive difference to a household budget, and this is why we are contacting you – the families who you support through income based free school meals are likely to also be eligible for the Big Difference Scheme.

We have successfully approved 12,443 Big Difference Scheme applications from April 2020 to February 2021.

Arthog booking – reminder

Further to our email sent out last week, just a reminder that you need to book your child onto the Arthog visit via sQuid. The offer on sQuid includes a letter with all the information about the visit and the kit list.

Whilst the full balance is due by Friday 28th May, we need to confirm numbers with Arthog by tomorrow so we need you to book your child’s place if you have not already done so.
