School Council

Our School Council have had a very busy year during 2016-2017.  Classes 1 to 4 have two representatives and Class 5 currently have four representatives on the Council.  The children are voted for by other children in their class, after giving a speech about why they are the ‘right person for the job!’

Some of the School Council’s recent activities are shown below.

  • Visit to the Bicton Heath Co-op, whom we have extremely strong links with, to learn about stock control;
  • Working with our Reverend and staff to collate responses from the whole-school to create a new school motto;
  • Organising a whole-school assembly to present our new motto ‘Learning for a Lifetime‘;
  • Attending the annual Safer School meeting to provide a pupil voice in decision-making.
