Dear Parents and Guardians
Situated just outside Shrewsbury, we are a village school with strong links with our local church and excellent parental support. We have high expectations of all our children, staff and governors and we strive to provide an environment where everyone is respected and valued.
We help children to develop perseverance and resilience and celebrate their own and others’ success. Our curriculum is planned to provide opportunities and challenges for all children, whatever their abilities, and we hope that children will leave our school inspired to become lifelong learners.
“Learning for a Lifetime”
In the autumn and spring terms of 2016-2017, we set about creating a school motto to celebrate what is special about our school. Every child created a piece of work illustrating what makes our school special to them. A group of children then worked closely with our Reverend and school staff to pick out the ‘golden threads.’ Learning, friendship, caring staff, memorable trips and visits kept appearing again and again and our new motto – Learning for a Lifetime – was born!
Our website provides just a snapshot of what we can offer your child and we welcome visits where you can find out lots more about what is going on in our busy school.
If you wish to arrange a visit to our school, please speak to the School Administrator at the main office – we would love to meet you!
Thank you for visiting our website.
